as i was driving away this morning

as i was driving away from home this morning and my twin boys were waving and saying “bye mommy,” my heart began to melt and ache and i wanted to pick them up and squeeze them so tightly. i then realized that i am able to leave the house because of the type of work that I am doing – helping people with infertility create their family. the joy i receive is so close to my heart as I assist couples and individuals with their journey of IVF, egg donation and surrogacy.

my boys will turn 2 years old on Septemebr 8th. They are my every day blessing and I can’t wait until they are old enough to understand what mommy does for work.

I knew it would happen, eventually. During 5 years of infertility and major disappointment, I knew one day we would achieve our dream of parenthood. My twin boys are 2-months old today. My little guys would not be here were if not for the assistance of a lovely, lovely surrogate and third party reproduction. With deep compassion, I am orchestrating an online auction to benefit the victims of the SGUSA/Michael Charles Financial tragedy. Joining me in this endeavor is third party reproductive attorney, Andrew Vorzimer. For those of you unfamiliar with what has transpired, SurroGenesis, Tonya Collins and Michael Charles Financial are being investigated by the FBI for allegedly absconding with over 3 million dollars of Intended Parents’ money in surrogacy escrow holdings.

This heinous act has devastated hundreds of people – Intended Parents, surrogates and egg donors. Life savings have been lost, along with couples’ dreams of parenthood. Surrogates are about to give birth, egg donors are in the middle of donation cycles and there is no money to proceed. For so many people involved, the outcome is looking disastrous. Money needs to be raised quickly.

Clients and employees say the Modesto companies have stopped paying surrogates, raising fears about the status of advance payments from prospective parents.

Two California-based firms involved in pairing infertile couples with surrogate mothers have stopped paying surrogates, raising fears about the status of thousands of dollars in advance payments from prospective parents, according to clients and employees of the firms.
